British postman delivers fancy dress joy to isolating residents
LONDON British postman Glen Walton features delivered albhabets and packages dressed being a robber, a wrestler, some sort of princess and Pokemon persona Pikachu in order to cheer up inhabitants stuck in their houses whilst social distancing during the coronavirus pandemic.
“I was fed up with all the doom and gloom and nobody smiling anymore, ” Walton advised Reuters.
“So I wanted to change that by wearing fancy dress at work. People and kids in houses have been waiting for me, clapping cheering and making posters. ”
Walton, that delivers publish in Mansfield Woodhouse around Nottinghamshire, middle England, will be raising funds for the National Emergencies Trust Coronavirus Appeal by wearing the costumes.
